# How to share and manage access

> The access code, roles, and who can see what.

## How people get in

In the proof of concept, entry needs only the shared **access code**. There is no email or password sign-in. The code is set when the server starts. If it is rejected, ask the administrator.

## Roles

Use the account menu (top right) to choose who you are **acting as**.

| Role | Can |
| - | - |
| **Viewer** | Read |
| **Reviewer** | Run simulations and comment |
| **Editor** | Change the model |
| **Owner** | Manage access |

## Who sees what

Everyone with app access can see every workspace and decision. The Workspace Members control is hidden for now. The existing membership data and edit permissions are kept, so scoped visibility and member management can return.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Planned, not yet in the interface: decisions visible only to their owner, people they are shared with, and members of a closed workspace. This is enforced in the database layer when the database is used, and account sign-in is available with the server's `--require-login` option.

## Sharing a result

* **Print or save as PDF** from the report.
* Documents and memos export as Markdown or standalone HTML.
* Send colleagues the app address and access code, and give them the reviewer role to comment.
